«AGROVET» is an innovative research and production company specializing in the development and production of immunobiological products, as well as the development of technologies in veterinary medicine and biotechnology. Our specialization covers the full cycle, from fundamental research to industrial production. Thanks to our years of experience, we hold a leading position in the veterinary biopharmaceutical market, ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality products to livestock farms, veterinary clinics, and distribution networks. We are constantly improving our technologies to offer customers innovative products that protect animal health and strengthen the country's food security.

Research and production activities

Agrovet LLC scientists have developed more than 30 new veterinary drugs, as well as numerous regulatory documents and instructions.

The company conducts comprehensive research in the field of animal infectious pathology, including epizootiological and immunological monitoring of animal diseases, isolation and identification of animal infectious disease agents. Based on the results obtained, the company develops new vaccines, diagnostic tools, and pharmaceutical products against infectious and parasitic diseases in animals.

Agrovet LLC carries out its main research and experimental work at laboratories in Moscow and in cooperation with the Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after K.I. Skryabin.

For research work, Agrovet LLC has 2 scientific laboratories equipped with modern scientific equipment and instruments.

The main areas of the team's scientific and production activities are:

• epizootiological and immunological monitoring of animal diseases;
• study of the etiopathogenetic factors of animal diseases;
• isolation and identification of pathogens of infectious diseases in animals;
• certification of epizootically and biotechnologically significant strains of bacteria and viruses of animal infectious diseases;
• creation and maintenance of a collection of production strains;
• development of new medicines: vaccines, diagnostic tools, and pharmaceuticals against infectious and parasitic diseases in animals;
• development of biosafe vaccines based on nanoproteoliposomal complexes with high immunogenicity;
• development of an innovative technology for obtaining highly effective strains of biologically active substances producers with properties of activating immunogenesis and non-specific factors of the body's defense;
• conducting research on obtaining embryonic and multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells from bone marrow and adipose tissue of animals, and creating new biotechnologies for the restoration and regeneration of large tissue and organ injuries based on these cells;
• development of effective biotechnologies and creation of an equipment and technology line for the production of immunobiological and pharmaceutical products for veterinary medicine;
• mass production and sale of immunoprophylactic and therapeutic products for infectious diseases in farm animals.

The enterprise's microbiological laboratory has a license to carry out activities related to diagnostics, study of microorganisms of groups III-IV of pathogenicity, performance of works, storage of microorganisms of groups III-IV of pathogenicity.

International cooperation

Agrovet LLC is an active participant in international scientific and technical cooperation, working with leading scientific centers and companies in the field of veterinary biotechnology.

The company exports its products to countries in Central and South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. The use of our vaccines ensures a high level of veterinary safety and animal health. Agrovet LLC's specialists offer a system for the sale of products and the provision of services to ensure epizootiological well-being as part of government measures and to meet the needs of animal owners for protection against infectious and parasitic diseases.

All vaccines produced are registered and certified in Russia and the CIS countries (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Georgia), and clinical trials are underway for registration in the European Union (Hungary and Slovakia).

Agrovet LLC cooperates with scientific institutions in Russia and foreign countries on the study of infectious animal diseases and immunobiotechnology:

• Mongolia MGAU and Mon.NIVI-monitoring and development of diagnostic systems against brucellosis and glanders;
• Kyrgyzstan – Institute of Biotechnology of the National Academy of Sciences – development of effective biopesticides;
• Kazakhstan – National Center for Biotechnology – development of genetically engineered vaccines;
• Azerbaijan - Az.NIVI - study of buffalo pasteurellosis;
• Tajikistan – Institute of Biological Safety Problems – monitoring of foot-and-mouth disease and rinderpest;
• We also work with veterinary universities in Egypt, Hungary, and Slovakia.

Production capabilities

Serial industrial production is carried out at its own production base in a biotechnological complex with a layout that meets the requirements of GMP and GLP, equipped with modern hardware and technological solutions that allow for the production of safe and highly immunogenic vaccines and diagnostic tools. The company has established a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2008.

Currently, the production facility is located on an area of more than 27,000 sq.m. It includes production buildings, warehouses, energy infrastructure facilities, administrative buildings, and auxiliary buildings and structures. The facility also includes water treatment and preparation facilities with a capacity of 10 m³/day for injectable water. The facility's wastewater treatment facilities provide treatment for domestic and industrial wastewater. The facility has a well-established communication system between its individual production buildings, including heat and power networks and access roads.

Biotechnological processes are carried out using modern equipment that ensures the production of biological products that meet international standards.

The territory and a complex of buildings with engineering infrastructure in the town of Levintsy were acquired in 2009. In the period from 2009 to 2014, Agrovet LLC, at its own expense, implemented a comprehensive project "Creation of a high-tech flexible production and organization of mass production of new vaccines against dangerous infectious diseases of farm animals", the purpose of which was the development, creation of a high-tech production and organization of the production of new vaccine products against dangerous infectious diseases of farm animals.

As a result of this project, a flexible production system was developed and implemented that ensures the most rational reorganization of production processes for the preparation of immunobiological preparations, taking into account the requirements of the Rules for Proper Organization of Production and Quality Control of Medicines (GMP), current Sanitary Rules and other regulatory documents defining the methodology for their production and implementation, a new high-performance unified technology, based on the use of modern modular biotechnological equipment, which allows reducing costs at various stages of the technological process of preparing the final product in the form of new immunobiological chemicals, the production site was reconstructed, production lines were certified, and permits for the production of new immunobiological drugs were issued.

Production facilities include:

• Building No. 102 is a one-storey building with a total area of 253.3 m², designed for storing equipment.
• Building No. 103 is a one-storey building with a basement, with a total area of 627.9 m², designed for storing raw materials and consumables.
• Building No. 104 is a two-storey administrative building with a total area of 678.0 m².
• Building No. 105 is a one-storey building with a total area of 759.7 m², designed for the production of probiotic preparations.
• Building No. 106 is a three-storey building with a total area of 3,823.4 m², designed for the production of pharmacopoeial veterinary drugs.
• Building No. 107 is a two-storey building with a total area of 1,256.7 m². It is designed for the production of nutrient bases and media, disinfectants, and biologically active additives.
• Building No. 108 is a one-storey building with a total area of 389.1 m², designed for warehousing and storing finished products.
• Building No. 109 is a two-storey building with a total area of 2,740 m², designed for the production of immunobiological products.
• Building of a steam boiler house.

The process equipment is made of stainless steel and is equipped with appropriate instrumentation. The reactors and vessels are equipped with a casing and a mixing device. The process equipment is supplied with pipelines for purified water, steam (into the jacket), cold and hot water (into the jacket), compressed air, vacuum, and a sewage line. The filtration system ensures the purification of the nutrient media from solid particles of 100 microns or more.

Warehouses for finished products, raw materials, and packaging materials are located in separate rooms. The warehouses are equipped with rack storage systems, refrigeration units, and a continuous temperature and humidity monitoring system.
